Conceptual Park Designs
The Committee to build Hope Park expects to complete the project by March 2013 with a groundbreaking slated for November 2012. We plan on accomplishing this through fundraisers, corporate grants, private donations from Frisco residents, and by having the community of Frisco come together to build the park.
We estimate the cost of the park to be approximately $750,000 with the possibility of an endowment for continued maintenance. A large portion of the cost is the rubber flooring that not only cushions falls but allows wheelchairs to easily move through the park.
We are a 501(c)(3) accepting tax-deductible donations and grants.
We have selected Leathers & Associates to help us design/build our playground. They have a stellar reputation and adhere strictly to safety guidelines. They have been building playgrounds for over 35 years in all 50 states and seven countries. All Leathers & Associates’ designers and consultants are certified playground safety inspectors.
Where is Hope Park Frisco?
The park will be located in The Trails of West Frisco on an empty lot between Gold Camp Road and Turnstone Trail. The lot is 1.525 acres (66,473 sq ft).
